UK STREETWEAR 2023 RECAP

This year has been incredible for British fashion from a range of collaborations, new brands and brands making it into the starlight. We break down some of our most memorable moments from this year's British fashion scene in 2023.

CORTEIZ - SUPREME LINK UP AND A TRANSITION IN DESIGN

Corteiz has had a crazy year, with their most recent event being the collaboration with the legendary streetwear brand, Supreme. However, before this, they already had an incredible year with a slight shift into releasing more pieces that allowed them to express themselves and their design choices. This came in the form of Leather jackets, incredibly warm down jackets and progressive pieces. Alongside the drops and the significant supreme collaboration earlier in the year, they rolled out the Nike x Corteiz Air Maxes 95’s which took the brand to new heights and activations in London, Paris and New York.

SKEPTA FASHION WEEK FIRST FASHION SHOW WITH

Skepta has been working on mains since 2018 and it’s only right that he gets all his flowers. This year he took over a night at LDN fashion week for his debut into runway nights where he got an opportunity to show off his expert craftsmanship in the fashion scene

SYNA GREW THROUGHOUT THE YEAR

It is crazy to look back and realise that Syna only hosted its first drop on the 7th of May of this year with their car boot sale-style launch activation. Since then they have had an insane level of growth supported by Central Cee work rate. They launched their viral beanie along with T-shirts, Tracksuits, Coats and accessories. They also hosted a Halloween event in Gunnersbury Park supported by a variety of custom-made attractions and Halloween-themed clothing.

DAVE BUILDING PSYCHO CLOTHING AND ALSO WALKING FOR LOUIS VUITTON

Dave’s Psycho clothing has been an interesting story to watch over the years as it has developed from merch associated with his tours to becoming a stand-alone brand. This year we saw it branch out into more complex pieces and a women's only line. The women's only line is a very significant step as it is something that is currently missing from the UK streetwear scene and it's good to see the avenue being explored.

LOST BOYS GREW WITH ACTIVATIONS AND DROPS

Lost Boys have been coming up the ranks throughout the years and 2023 was the year they chose to make the biggest impact. Alongside their latest activation hosted in on just a few weeks ago they released some incredible drops. From t-shirts to tracksuits, they had everyone locked in.

It is exciting to see what they have planned for next year.

PLACES+FACES celebrated an incredible 10 years in 2023 and as part of their release, they teamed up with ACW, Corteiz, Slawn, Prix, Awake, Daily Paper, Bstroy, Thug Club and Vandy.

After taking over Fabric a few weeks ago to wrap up the end of the year and the end of their 10th-anniversary celebrations, it is safe to say that they had a crazy run in 2023.
